This Weatherproof FRP / SMC Electrical Enclosure Box is engineered for LT distribution, energy meter housing, and industrial control equipment. Manufactured from hot-press compression-moulded Sheet Moulding Compound (SMC) and Fiberglass Reinforced Polyester (FRP), it delivers high mechanical rigidity while remaining completely rust-proof and corrosion-free. The enclosure features an ingress protection rating of IP55 / IP65 for dust and moisture resistance, along with an IK10 impact resistance rating. With a dielectric strength exceeding 11 kV/mm, it provides a 100% non-conductive, shockproof barrier that ensures high operator and equipment safety.
Design, Mounting & Construction Details
Designed for outdoor and indoor utility deployment, the box supports both wall mounting and pole mounting configurations. The unit incorporates an integrated top weather canopy that diverts rainwater away from the door perimeter and internal wiring. It is built in UV-stabilized Off-White / Siemens Grey (RAL 7035) finish, equipped with heavy-duty stainless steel hinges, external padlock brackets for tamper prevention, bottom cable gland provisions, and a front-facing screen-printed Danger safety marking.

The housing is fire-retardant and self-extinguishing in compliance with UL 94 V-0 standards, with an operational temperature tolerance from -20°C to +120°C.
